Biographical / Historical
The Palama Express was a renamed continuation of the Palama Press newsletter under the leadership of the all-girls social club, The Barefoot Menehunes. This monthly newsletter included artwork, monthly birthday dedications, news articles, and its signature section, “Inquiring Reporter,” that included community voices. The Palama Express was meant to be both informative and engaging to the Palama Settlement community.
