Biographical / Historical
Palama Settlement’s Moʻolelo newsletter, begun in 1979, highlights the organization’s adaptive role in youth and community services. Key initiatives included Corbett House, offering structured care for girls referred by Family Court; a vocational training program for school-alienated youth; expansion of recreational and athletic opportunities; and ongoing post-fire reconstruction of educational facilities.
